UK Sport set-up and run a very successful 100% ME Zone at the European Youth Hockey Championship held in Edinburgh from 9-14 July 2007.

The Zone was located next to the main hockey pitch for 2 days of the event and all the teams had the opportunity to pick-up a free water bottle, get the latest anti-doping education resources and speak to anti-doping experts.

The 100% ME Zone was also run from the registration tent which was the main entrance to the event and this way a lot of parents, coaches and younger players were reached. Lisa Wooding, the 100% ME Hockey Ambassador, was also involved on one of the days and having an Ambassador present was very effective.
